Wool is our staple. It is so practical. But from time to time we want something a little different.

We offer these fun and exotic fibers for your pleasure. Many can be combined with wool or used in their pure form. Most are to be spun finely so a little goes a long ways.

Notice:  We want to be fair in charging shipping costs. It is difficult to accurately figure shipping charges for different types of items going throughout the U.S. We don't charge for handling. If you are under charged for shipping we will invoice you.

If you are overcharged we will refund.

For sale are:

Alpaca top in white and brown, Angora fleece - rabbit in three colors, Camel - fine brown top, Cashmere-super fine white, Llama - baby llama and nice top, Mohair - in roving and locks, NEW OPTIM, Silk - in 3 forms: roving, noils, and Yak - in creamy white.

We tried to find Alpaca fiber to purchase in Peru but every avenue we followed led us to Alpaca yarn not - roving. This woman was not actually spinning (she was carrying a spindle of yarn) but she was tending a flock of Alpacas.

These Angora fleeces have been grown by the rabbits of  local fiber artist Shelley Peterson. She has loveingly harvested the fiber from her variety of white and colored Angoras. It is stored on sheets of tissues, each coat in its own box. The result is an outstanding fiber.

This Angora is beautiful, fluffy fiber.  The cost shown is equivalent to $5.70 an ounce.  Angora is very light weight and a tiny amount goes a long way.

These prices are very competitive.
